ATS Advanced Technology Solutions S.p.A. (ATS), as Data Controller of your personal data, provides this information on the use of cookies made by the website (Website), in accordance with the provisions of Article 13 of the European Regulation n. 679/2016 on the protection of physical persons with regard to the processing of personal data (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter Regulation), by art. 122 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 which transposes Directive 2002/58/EC and subsequent amendments, and by the Authority for the Protection of Personal Data in the Provision of 8 May 2014 “Identification of simplified procedures for information and disclosure acquisition of consent for the use of cookies “(hereinafter, the “Provision” and together with Legislative Decree 196/2003, the “Reference Law”). This information (hereinafter, “Information on Cookies”) aims to provide you (as “Interested” or “User”) with the necessary information on the types of cookies and similar technologies installed on your device via the Site and directions on how to manage your preferences in this regard.

What are cookies

Cookies are small text files sent by the sites you visit to the user’s terminal, usually to the browser, and allow you to collect information about browsing performed on the network. Technical cookies

  • browsing or session cookies, which guarantee the normal navigation and use of the website, allowing, for example, to make a purchase or authenticate to access restricted areas; they are in fact necessary for the correct functioning of the site;
  • statistical analysis cookies (or analytics cookies), like technical cookies when used directly by the site manager to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the site, in order to improve the functioning of the site;
  • functionality cookies, which allow the user to browse based on a series of selected criteria (for example, the language, the products selected for purchase) in order to improve the service rendered to the same.

Profiling cookies

These are cookies used to track the user’s navigation on the network and create profiles on his tastes, habits, choices, etc. With these cookies advertising messages can be transmitted to the user’s terminal in line with the preferences already shown by the same user while browsing online.

“Third party” analytics cookies

The statistical analysis cookies (analytics cookies), as already mentioned, collect information on the use that users make of the Site and allow it to improve its functioning. The Site uses analytical cookies of third parties of which the Data Controller does not have direct control. The forwarding of the same is permitted only with the prior consent of the user.
